Jacqueline’s knowledge of the construction industry stems from her family's involvement. Her family owns a residential construction company and building supply companies in south east Michigan. She has learned a lot about construction and the related materials by both working at these businesses, and listening to her Dad and brothers talk about their experiences.

During law school, Jacqueline was the President of the Environmental Law Society, President of the Mental Health Association, and Vice President of the Business Law Society. During these roles, she held various events for students to learn more about careers in environmental and business law, and held fundraisers to raise awareness for both environmental and mental health issues.

Jacqueline grew up in Saline, Michigan, with her parents and three siblings. Her two brothers work for her family's companies, and her sister is a social worker in Montana. Jacqueline has a dog named Pavo that she adopted in 2016 while she was a student at Western Michigan University. She moved to Traverse City following her admission to the state bar. She enjoys the outdoors and going on hikes, being active, staying connected with her family and friends, maintaining a sustainable lifestyle, and visiting local businesses.
